About PM Shri KV No. 1, Sagar, Jabalpur Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Sagar, established in the year 1964, was one of the first twenty regimental schools which were converted into ‘Central Schools’ with Shri. N R Limaye is its founding principal.This ‘Central School’ later came to be known as ‘Central School No. 1, Sagar’. It is a Defense Sector school and Mahar Regiment Centre, Sagar is its sponsoring agency. The Commandant of MRC, Sagar is the ex-officio Chairman of its School Management Committee. The present building of the school was constructed in 1976 which is a ‘Type – B – 3 Section’ building.
